We have been home almost a week now with our newest addition William Harvey Niemi! With one needy baby, and two busy crazy kids in the house, a schedule is laughable at this point in time. We are all doing quite well and are happy to all be together again.
The kids are loving their brother being home, but I did notice some coughs and sniffles this morning. I am doing my best to keep the winter ick away from the baby, so the kids were not happy with limited contact this morning. They make me laugh with the things they say about the new baby. Both Matthew and Makenzie think when Will cries that he sounds like a sheep. The first time Makenzie got to touch him, Will whimpered She jumped back and was about in tears saying how sorry she was. She thought she hurt Will. It was sad, funny, and heart warmingly cute all at the same time.
The biggest adjustment in my being back home has been the kids and their behavior. Somehow they were much better behaved for their father while I was gone, and since my return there has been a lot of selective hearing going on in my house!
this weekend the kids will be performing at Libby Christian Church! I am hoping to sneak over for this, as I was helping in teaching on this program up until the week I had the baby. All of the kids in this program have worked so hard, and really sound beautiful. I am so proud, not just of my own children, but all of the Radiance children!
Lots to try and do this week, wish me luck and keep me in your prayers!
